When the word of the week turned out to be contagious, my mind instantly went to the swine flu. I wonder if this is what the virus looks like in a microscope.

Mother's Cookies Cookie Parade. One of the gems of my childhood. To open a brand new bag and to see these frosted animal cookies as hidden treasures among the regular cookies was a treat. And to go to the grocery store years later to see that they have bags with just these frosted animal cookies. Life doesn't get any better.
